More than 100 years of history
The Harvard Students' Spouses and Partners' Association (HSSPA) boasts a rich history dating back to its inception in 1896 as the Society of Harvard Dames, by Anna Parker Lowell. Established with the goal of fostering social connections and intellectual enrichment among its members, HSSPA has withstood the test of time, evolving and adapting to the changing needs of its community over the past century. As we celebrate over 100 years of HSSPA's existence, we are proud to carry forward the legacy of creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for the spouses, partners, and families of all Harvard affiliates.
