 Fion grew up in Hong Kong and completed her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Western Australia. Before settling down in Boston with her family in 2015, Fion lived in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Chicago, and Australia. Now a naturalized U.S. citizen, she brings a wealth of international experience to her role. Fion is a professional in management and marketing, having worked with one of the world’s largest development companies that manage over $100 billion in assets. Her contributions included marketing initiatives and the design of master plans for residential developments. Later, she worked with a real estate private equity firm in Asia, focusing on developing market strategies in asset management.

 Fion first joined HSSPA in 2015 and has previously served as a committee member of the HSSPA Playgroup. With a passion for the arts, she has taught Chinese calligraphy classes in the HSSPA Arts and Crafts Group over the years.

 Fion’s dedication to art is evident in her diverse interests. She learned Chinese calligraphy at a young age and completed the Advanced Chinese Calligraphy class at the University of Hong Kong School of Professional and Continuing Education with Professor/Master Wong Chai Lok. Her works have been exhibited at venues including Hong Kong City Hall and Brookline Library. Growing up, Fion was awarded the *Heinz Bosl Scholarship* in ballet, performing in productions such as *Sleeping Beauty*, *Swan Lake*, and *Giselle*. Her artistic pursuits extend to Japanese Ikebana (flower arrangement) and various art and painting classes at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

 In addition to her artistic endeavors, Fion is a committed advocate for environmental protection and an active member of Green Newton. She loves to travel and has visited extensively across North America, South America, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and South Africa. Fion is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

 Fion lives by her master’s motto: “One person, one lifetime, one art,” and believes that everyone is an artist. As the HSSPA Arts and Crafts Group leader, she enjoys inspiring others and sharing her experiences, creating a relaxing and supportive environment for art enthusiasts in the Harvard community.
