Welcome to our March HSSPA Book Club meeting!!

This March, as we approach **International Women’s Day**, we read ***The Awakening*** **by Kate Chopin** and *T**he Yellow Wallpaper*** **by Charlotte Perkins Gilman** — two haunting and unsettling portraits of women pushing against the architecture of marriage and domesticity.

Both texts ask a stark question: *What happens when a woman begins to see herself clearly?*
