This month, we're discussing *The Metamorphosis* by Franz Kafka, one of the most influential works of modern literature. Through the surreal story of Gregor Samsa's startling transformation, Kafka explores themes of alienation, identity, family, duty, and the search for meaning. For those interested in diving deeper into Kafka's world, an optional additional read is *The Trial*.
