#  Whale Watching with HSSPA: A Day of Connection and Discovery

On August 3rd, 2024, the HSSPA community came together for an unforgettable whale-watching experience. This event wasn’t just about spotting whales—it was about making memories and building bonds among Harvard families. For many spouses and partners, especially those new to the area, this was a rare chance to experience a unique aspect of New England’s natural beauty.

HSSPA exists to bring the Harvard community closer through shared experiences like this. Whether it's watching a Red Sox game or exploring the ocean, our goal is to help families feel more connected to each other and to the local culture. These events are special because they offer a taste of life in Cambridge and beyond, something that isn’t always easy to find when you’re far from home.

But to keep this momentum going, we need your help. HSSPA is a volunteer-driven organization, and more events mean we need more hands on deck. If you enjoyed the whale-watching trip, or if you have ideas for other events, we’d love for you to get involved. Whether it’s joining the board, helping plan future activities, or just offering your time and ideas, your contribution will make a huge difference.
