Come and join HSSPA’s weekly activities for spouses, partners and children!

1. Spouses Group

This is a volunteer-based group to support the spouses and partners of all Harvard affiliates. The group meets every Thursday, 4:30-6:00 pm, usually at the Harvard International Office in Holyoke Center. Our informal meetings are a great opportunity to get together once a week to learn from others, exchange experiences at Harvard and make new friends in a friendly atmosphere. We also occasionally meet up at other times of the week for a coffee and a chat. We look forward to meeting you!

If you would like to receive a weekly e-mail newsletter with information about each week’s spouses group meeting as well as other events and activities around Harvard, please send an e-mail to harvardspouses@gmail.com.

2. Playgroup for Infants and Toddlers at Peabody Terrace

The weekly Peabody Terrace playgroup is co-organized by HSSPA and the Peabody Terrace Resident Advisors, and is open to the Harvard Community. It meets every Friday during the academic year, 10:00-11:30 am, in the Peabody Terrace Common Room at 900 Memorial Drive, Cambridge. Each week, we set up mats, toys and books for children. At 11 am, we sing, move and make music for about 15 minutes. We also casually share ideas and questions related to childhood/parenthood, and will discuss any topic you bring. We have information and resources for parents at Harvard, living in Cambridge or around, and would be very happy to share them with you. You are welcome to come play with your child and chat with other parents! The cost of playgroup membership is $10 for the whole academic year, payable to HSSPA.

To sign up or get more information about the playgroup, please e-mail us at ptplaygroup@gmail.com.
